If you understand the signs of domestic and family violence, and know what to do next, you can make a really positive difference to someone’s life. We aim to support frontline workers to confidently:
signs of domestic and family violence
with appropriate care
women and their children, who are experiencing or at risk of domestic and family violence, to appropriate support services
Our program is well established throughout Australia, including nationally accredited online courses and face-to-face workshops delivered by Lifeline centres in metropolitan and regional areas on behalf of Lifeline Australia.
We develop our specialised workshops with community experts to ensure response and referral practices are culturally appropriate. If you’re an eligible frontline worker, all our training is free.
We also offer financial support for staff backfill if you’re attending a 2-day workshop or a specialist 1-day workshop, and help with travel and accommodation in some cases.
