Eligibility
Eligibility for DV-alert
Our workshops are open to all frontline workers in Australia. This includes people who provide direct service and support, either paid or unpaid, to the community in sectors like health, allied health, education, childcare and the community.
DV-alert training is free for frontline workers who fit the following criteria:
You work, volunteer or are on student placement in health, allied health, education, childcare and community sector
You have a Unique Student Identifier
You live in Australia and have Australian or New Zealand citizenship, permanent residency or hold a visa with no study limitations
The DV-alert Program follows the National Principles for Child Safe Organisations, ensuring safe physical and online environments while minimising harm to children and young people.
Due to the program’s context and content, individuals under 18 cannot attend face-to-face courses or access online courses and materials.
The DV-alert Program prioritises child safety. If a participant is accompanied by a minor, they must arrange alternative care immediately or leave the course.
Eligibility for DV-aware
DV-aware training is free for adults aged 18 years or older living in Australia.
Eligibility for Brothers Standing Tall
Brothers Standing Tall training is for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander males aged 18 years or older.
