About DV-alert
DV-alert is a nationally accredited training program delivered by Lifeline Australia (RTO 88036). Our program is funded by the Australian Government Department of Social Services as a key initiative under the National Plan to Reduce Violence Against Women and their Children 2010-2022.
Since 2007, we have been working to build the knowledge and capability of frontline workers to reduce and prevent domestic and family violence.
DV-alert is led by experienced trainers dedicated to reducing violence against women and their children. Our workshops provide a safe space for frontline workers to learn, connect and be empowered to recognise and respond confidently to those in crisis.
Our goals
The DV-alert training program is based on four main goals:
- Driving whole of community action to prevent violence
- Understanding diverse experiences of violence
- Supporting innovative services and interventions
- Improving perpetrator interventions.
