What you will learn
Workshop learners will gain an understanding of the complexities of domestic and family violence and learn how to recognise the signs, how to respond safely and how to refer when necessary.
By the end of the workshop, you will be equipped with the knowledge and skills to:
- identify the different signs and forms of abuse that constitute domestic and family violence
- learn about the Duluth power and control wheel
- reflect on and share what they can do if you know someone who is experiencing domestic and family violence
Who should attend?
DV-aware training is offered at no cost for adults aged 18 years or older living in Australia.
