This workshop is perfect for those looking to gain foundational knowledge in a time-efficient format.
What you will learn
This is an introduction to understanding domestic and family violence. Workshop learners will learn the different signs and forms of abuse, and what to do if encountering someone who is experiencing domestic and family violence.
By the end of the workshop, you will be equipped with the knowledge and skills to:
- describe the different forms of abuse that constitute domestic and family violence
- explain the linkages between power and control and domestic and family violence
- describe what you can do if you know someone who is experiencing domestic and family violence.
Who should attend?
DV-aware training is offered at no cost for adults aged 18 years or older living in Australia.
